March 20: International Astrology Day

International Astrology Day

Created in 1993 by The Association For Astrological Networking (AFAN) to expand networking opportunities for astrologers worldwide and promoting positive aspects of astrology to the media. AFAN co-ordinates lectures and events worldwide.

Astrologers and astrology enthusiasts celebrate the beginning–as in the first day–of the astrological year. It’s the first full day of the astrological sign of Aries and marks the beginning of the tropical Zodiac. It’s observed on the Vernal Equinox (Spring Equinox), which varies year to year between March 19-22, though it usually falls on March 20.

Astrology is the study of the movements, and relative positions, of celestial bodies and interpreting that as having an influence on people and the natural world.
