Bakeapples are found growing wild in bogs, they are known as cloud berries in Finland. They look like a yellowish-orange raspberry with tiny seeds.

Serve this recipe with hot with fresh cream or ice cream.

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch of salt
2 cups rolled oats
3/4 cups cold butter
1-1/2 cups of sweetened bakeapples or bakeapple jam

Preheat oven to 350F.
Grease an 8-inch pan.
Next line the pan with parchment paper and grease the parchment.
Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and oats.
Cut in butter until crumbly.
Spread half of the mixture into the bottom of pan.
Spread with bakeapples or jam.
Cover with remaining mixture and gently press down.
Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown.
