1 cup instant grits
2 cups sharp, grated cheddar cheese
4 tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 cup chopped green onions, include the green parts
2 eggs slightly beaten
3/4 cups milk
Cook the grits according to the package directions.
Stir in the cheese, butter, and chopped onions.
Pour the mixture into a buttered 2 quart casserole dish and cool slightly.
Stir in the eggs and milk.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Bake one hour.
