1 ounce cream cheese, softened
1 Polish sausage (or hot dog)
1 hot dog bun
Grill or boil hot dogs until done. Warm buns on the grill or in the oven.
- Spread cream cheese on warmed bun.
- Place sausage in bun.
- Top with onions, mustard, and sauerkraut.
*Melt 1/4 cup butter in a pan over medium heat. Add one thinly sliced Walla Walla or other sweet onion and cook slowly until the onion has softened and turned a deep brown, about 15 minutes.
