empty oatmeal container with the lid (or a large coffee can)
construction paper
glue
tape
scissors
tape measure
markets
beads, feathers, bells, shells, etc.
Measure around the oatmeal container with the tape measure.
Measure the height of the container.
Cut construction paper in a rectangle measuring the same height and 1/2 inch plus the circumference of the container.
Use the marker to make designs.
Wrap the paper around the oatmeal container and glue closed.
Put the lid on.
Add all the decorations (beads, feathers…)
